Grow By Three is a product of social entrepreneurship, and rose out of an attorney’s goal to further contribute to the everlasting fight towards social justice. Grow By Three was designed to create shifts in organizational culture, and assists individuals in successfully accessing new opportunities.

Grow By Three seeks to impact organizational culture in ways that can promote engagement, diversity, inclusion, and the reduction of bias in our society. The organization also works to help individual clients elevate themselves to spaces in which they can work toward serving their purpose and attaining their goals.

Grow By Three is seeking a video editor/producer to support video-based content initiatives that support the organization’s mission and overall commitment to promoting DEI principles. Responsibilities will include developing engaging content for social media platforms; organizing and editing recordings from past virtual events; designing backdrops for live videos and layouts for previously recorded video content; creating content reels; creating and refining storyboards for future projects; editing educational videos for use online; assisting with planning of video projects; introducing illustration and/or animation into digital content; advising on video production and shooting; and completing other relevant tasks as needed.

Candidates applying for Grow By Three’s Video Editor position must be able to:

●        use Track Changes in Microsoft Word;

●        brainstorm and collaborate well with others;

●        commit up to ten hours a week to the position;

●        exhibit strong design skills and visual creativity;

●        implement feedback constructively and promptly; 

●        navigate projects with initiative and independence;

●        communicate needs, thoughts, and questions effectively;

●        maintain organizational and branding identity in creative work;

●        communicate visual concepts, ideas, and strategies effectively;

●        adhere to very strict rules relating to confidentiality of information;

●        demonstrate extremely high levels of attention to detail and enthusiasm;

●        access and navigate multimedia-based software such as Adobe Creative Suite;

●        work well with social media (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn) and video upload platforms (Youtube, Vimeo, etc.); and

●        meet/complete tasks in Boston, MA (although most projects will be completed remotely/virtually).

1-3 years of relevant background experience required. Candidates are encouraged to submit portfolios or demo reels that demonstrate a strong background in video production and editing, as well as samples of past layout and designs for projects, if applicable.

Experience with videography is preferred, with illustration/animation experience being a major plus. Having deep interests in DEI and professional development are an additional advantage. Candidates with creative and innovative energy are highly encouraged to apply.
