Grow By Three is a product of social entrepreneurship, and rose out of an attorney’s goal to further contribute to the everlasting fight toward social justice. The consulting firm works to create positive shifts within sectors and organizations, with the overarching goal of making our world more equitable and inclusive.

Through its program development, execution, and management services, Grow By Three applies unique approaches to problems affecting the legal field, nonprofit sector, higher education, and more. The firm serves corporate organizations in ways that seek to promote team engagement and strengthen professional skills of its internal communities. The firm also works directly with individual clients to guide them in accessing new professional opportunities.

Who We Are Seeking

Grow By Three is seeking an Advisor to support its professional development work in the legal field. The perfect match for this role is a current law student or recent JD graduate. The Advisor must feel confident about talking to others, providing strategic advisement, tracking data, and managing administrative tasks to support meticulous record-keeping. The Advisor must be able to work well on a collaborative team. Successful Advisors at Grow By Three believe in the value of mentorship, desire to support the success of others, and display extraordinary attention to detail.

OUR NEEDS

Candidates applying for Grow By Three’s Advisor position must be able to:

  • draw on experience serving in an advisory or mentorship capacity within higher education, or another professional environment;

  • read, review, and synthesize documents thoroughly and carefully;

  • support client scheduling and advising processes;

  • draft notes regarding client interactions that are detailed yet succinct;

  • draft, send, and respond to emails in a client-focused, respectful manner;

  • employ Grow By Three’s processes and methodology for advising;

  • monitor client database to keep track of activity;

  • navigate Microsoft Excel with a high level of proficiency;

  • upload sensitive documents from databases with care and attention;

  • communicate thoughts and feedback at an extraordinarily effective level;

  • liaise between different departments to coordinate the flow of necessary information;

  • adhere to very strict rules and security measures relating to confidentiality of information;

  • manage time at an exceptional level, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines with specificity; and

  • brainstorm and collaborate well with others.

Additional Requirements

Candidates applying for Grow By Three’s Advisor position must:

  • dedicate up to seven hours a week to the role between September 2024 and June 2025;

  • be able to provide organizational support on specific weekends and evenings;

  • care about the advancement of diversity, equity, and inclusion within our society;

  • show a desire to support others with compassion and empathy; and

  • demonstrate extremely high levels of attention to detail and enthusiasm under time constraints.

Please note that this role is remote, with the exception of travel for staff retreats or company events.
