Who We Are Seeking

Grow By Three is seeking an Assistant Director of Programs & Content to assist in advancing our organization’s mission. The perfect match for this role has a passion for creating engaging content, managing life-changing programs, developing long- and short-term strategies to meet goals, and executing strategies by collaborating with others at high levels.

The responsibilities for this role will include:

  • conducting and compiling research prior to development of programs and content;

  • drafting, creating, reviewing, and editing content for programs and digital media;

  • collaborating with executive, research, and creative personnel to develop organizational content;

  • supporting hiring and management of personnel who are integral to organizational programs;

  • overseeing production of design deliverables by creative team personnel;

  • interfacing with clients to capture and address their unique needs through our organizational solutions;

  • managing digital media platforms;

  • producing innovative strategies that drive community and brand engagement;

  • taking complete ownership of processes related to planning, developing, and executing organizational programs and related events; and

  • deploying strong working knowledge of diversity, equity, and inclusion principles.

General EXPECTATIONS

Candidates applying for Grow By Three’s Assistant Director of Programs & Content position must be able to:

  • draw on a background of writing, editing, and supporting development of engaging content for professional organizations;

  • draw on a background of management experience that has produced measurable and favorable organizational results;

  • use Track Changes in Microsoft Word and Google Documents;

  • assess and edit materials using Adobe programs, specifically, Photoshop, Premier, Illustrator and/or Audition;

  • exhibit strong written and oral communication skills;

  • create copy that mirrors our brand’s mission and DEI focus;

  • navigate Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint with a high level of proficiency;

  • upload and download sensitive documents from databases with care and attention;

  • liaise between different departments to coordinate the flow of necessary information;

  • implement feedback effectively;

  • adhere to very strict rules and security measures relating to confidentiality of information;

  • manage time at an exceptional level, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines with specificity;

  • demonstrate extremely high levels of attention to detail and enthusiasm under time constraints;

  • show a desire to support others with compassion and empathy; and

  • brainstorm and collaborate well with others.

ROLE Requirements

Candidates applying for Grow By Three’s Assistant Director of Programs & Content position must:

  • have demonstrated experience, preferably in Communications, Marketing, Advertising, Journalism, Design, or another related field;

  • have at least one year of experience drafting and editing formal materials for professional environments;

  • dedicate at least twenty hours a week during the 2022 months of March, April, May, June, July, August, September, October, November, December, and the 2023 months of January, February, and March;

  • be passionate about the advancement of diversity, equity, and inclusion within our society; and

  • be able to meet in Boston, MA regularly, with a willingness to complete business travel as necessary.
